For us, doing great business means doing good business
When you work with us, you become part of a supportive network that actively gives back to local charities and projects.
Every month we work with non-profits to help them grow their reach and serve more people. Why? Because we know that when charities thrive, communities flourish, and everybody benefits.
Why wouldn’t you want to be part of that?
We’re not out here ticking boxes to look good
Unless it’s the audit checklist boxes, of course.
We’re committed to giving 20% of our combined time to third-sector organisations at no cost. We’re not squeezing these projects into leftover time, and we’re not flying a corporate social responsibility flag for the day.
This is our reason for being – giving back to the community. It’s at the heart of everything we do, and we have no desire to run Airgonomics without it.
Here’s why…
Local charities are doing the most interesting work
Creative, entrepreneurial, innovative, progressive. It’s fascinating stuff and we love being part of interesting, unique and challenging projects.
Grassroots change actually works
Look around you. The neighborhoods, communities and resources have changed dramatically over the past 20 years. We’ve faced tough times – economically, socially and politically. But with investment and support, communities can be lifted.
And it all starts by supporting the dedicated people working hard on grassroots projects.
We’re moving in the right direction. Will you move with us?
Community
Impact Partnership
The support we offer to third-sector organisations is exactly what we’d offer to a paying client. There’s no difference in quality or approach.
The only thing that’s different is how long we work with them (and no, they don’t get less time with us – they get more).
12-month partnerships for real impact
We don’t do quick fixes or surface-level help in any area of our business. We work with organisations for a full year because that’s how long it takes to create demonstrable, sustainable change.
What we offer:
- Our full Core Audit - to get a picture of where your organisation is
- A 1 day strategic planning workshop - to map out long, medium and short term goals
- Quarterly planning sessions - to review progress and set objectives
- A monthly accountability call and x4 hours per quarter availability for support
- 2 days for workshops, to tackle specific areas throughout the year
Ready to work with us?
We open applications once a year
- January to March
Successful applicants will begin working with us in either April or October.
Right-fit organisations and eligibility
Not every charity needs what we offer, and we can’t help everyone (yet). We’re looking for organisations where we can make a real impact – projects we can help, that align with our values and most importantly of all, that are ready to implement the changes.
The application process:
1. Apply
Fill in our application form with your details about your organisation and where you need help the most.
2. Shortlist
We review all applications and shortlist the best-fit projects
3. Interview
Quick chat to understand your needs and explain exactly what we can offer
4. Proposal
We’ll outline objectives, timescales and partnership agreement
If we’re both happy, we start working together (April or October)
When applications are closed
Join our waiting list and we’ll email you as soon as the next application period opens.
Frequently asked questions
What is it?
Our Community Impact Partnership is a 12-month programme for third sector organisations and local community groups, to receive core business support at no cost.
Who is this for?
It is for charities, third sector organisations and local community groups who want to make a positive difference and know they need help to achieve it.
What support will I get?
The programme is tailored around your organisation, but we would expect it to include:
- Core Audit – carried out to understand your organisation, the challenges and opportunities. It’s a good starting place.
- A 12-month strategy session – to map out long, medium- and short-term goals and objectives. (Full day).
- Quarterly planning sessions – to review progress and set the coming quarter’s objectives. (Half day).
- Accountability calls – monthly 60-minute calls to answer questions and maintain momentum.
- Support time – 4-hours per quarter, for us to progress actions, meet with team members, whatever your needs are.
- Additionally, we plan in up to 2-days for workshops across the year, which can be used as full or half day sessions as needed.
In total, this equates to around 95 hours per year.
What isn’t included?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide hands-on project delivery as part of this offering.
Is this just a PR / CSR initiative?
Absolutely not. ‘Giving back’ is one of our defining values and at the heart of what we do.
What are you aiming to achieve?
We want to make a positive impact in our community, and we know that funding is getting harder to come by. This is one of the ways we are doing our bit to help.
What is the application process?
We want to make this as straightforward as possible, so all we ask is that you take 10-15 minutes to complete the application form.
What happens after I’ve completed the application form?
We review and score all applications to create a short list. From there, we invite the shortlisted organisations for an initial call and then arrange face to face meetings with the top 3.
How will I know if I'm selected?
Whether you are selected or not, we’ll let you know.
Is there any other support available if I'm not selected?
We may be able to provide some one-time free, or discounted, work to support you but this will be limited by our capacity.
Can I apply again in future?
We may be able to provide some one-time free, or discounted, work to support you but this will be limited by our capacity.
Is there an application criteria?
Our only criteria is, that you are a charity, third sector organisation or community group and have the time to work with us to make positive changes in your organisation. We know we work best with established organisations that have been running for over a year, so this is beneficial.
Can I talk with you before applying?
Of course. Please reach out to us at ask@airgonomics.co and we’ll arrange a call to answer any questions you may have.
Can the partnership be done remotely?
Yes, but some areas deliver more benefits face-to-face, especially when working with your wider team.
How long does it last?
We commit to working with you for 12 months.
Are there hidden costs?
No, the 12-month programme we agree with you will be delivered 100% free of charge.
Does it differ from your paid consultancy?
No, this is the same service we provide to our paying clients.
When can I apply?
You can register interest and apply twice a year; Jan – March then July – September with onboarding happening in April and October. However, you can join our waitlist at other times in the year, and we’ll let you know when the applications are open.
When do the partnerships start?
Partners officially come on board twice a year, April and October.
What will you expect from us?
We expect the same that you should expect from us.
- A desire to make a positive impact
- The time to deliver agreed initiatives
- Turning up to scheduled meetings and calls
How much time will this take on our side?
We will spend around 2-4 hours with you per month alongside quarterly planning sessions. You and your team will also need to set time aside to move the strategic initiatives forward.
Can businesses / individuals support this programme?
100%! The more we all do the bigger the changes we can make. If you have a service you would like to offer as part of this initiative, please reach out to us at ask@airgonomics.co
